Comparison Sustainable Tourism Development Beetween Uni Arab Emirates(Dubai)-Turkey

Sustainable Tourism Development is tourism which leads to management of all resorces in such a way that economic, social, and aesthetic needs can be filled while maintaining cultural integrity, essentials ecological processes, biological diversity and life support(Dr.Bob McKrecher,2003). Sustainable Tourism Development having four pillars economic, ecological, cultural,and community sustainability.
Economic Sustainability, that is profitable in both the immediate and long-term.
Ecological Sustainability, development that is compatible with the maintenance of essential ecological processes,biological diversity ang biological resources.
Cultural Sustainability, increase people's control over their lives and is compatible with the cultural and values of those affected and strengthens the community identity.
Local Sustainability, that is designed to benefit lolcal communities and generate or retain income in those communities.
UAE-Turkey be two asia countries that apply pillars sustainable tourism developmet in the tourism sector. Both same belong to into mid-east country part and islam the citizen majority, but the society life style inclined elegant western.

Implementation Sustainable Tourism in Uni Arab Emirates( Dubai)
UEA(Dubai) one of [the] rich country that resides in mid-east. besides batural resources that is oil, this country has also tourism sector very progress even in this time, government more memfokus in tourism development is compared with oil industry, because tourism can be relied on time longer. citizen uea dominated by outsider members likes indian, indonesia, etc. even outsider member population achieves 80% from overall member uea(M. Wahid Supriyadi, Indonessian Ambassador to UEA, 2009). A lot of building very incredible found at dubai, like palm island, skyscraper building, hotel under sea, and still many again. development get many criticisms because can botch environment. but, scientiest principled that development will not botch environment but exactly environment gracious. even less coasts at dubai follow scientiest doesn't has potential tsunami.

Tourism in Dubai cope to aim to ideal tour because adopteds basis sustainable, among others:
- tourism dubai try to use resource that renewable or make self resource that need to pass technology.

Found two different opinions in applications effort sustainable tourism development at dubai. first opinion, that economic sustainability matter that must dominant. On the other hand, that ecology sustainability that must dominant. However, Dubai begin bridging second thinking optimiscally. government and society dubai as stakeholder felt sure that the country tourism development ambulatory harmonic and successive with sustainability system. therefore, Dubai many apply sophisticated technology in development the tour to overcomes problem global warming.
a lot support this theory and the mentioned is logical especially caused by inclination as follows:
basically tourism resource really limited and modernization and economy development continues to belong factor that give pressure towards sustainability.
more and more one who do travelling every year it and that mean:

Dubai government, apply the concept sustainable development by tour destination development that pay attention environment and friendly environment. depertemen tourism dubai declare that environment protection is one of [the] principal aim uni arabian emirate in masterplan recently is announced that include important sites protection according to ecology, water conservation, energy sources management. tourism destination at dubai also many apply concept among others ac tower, anara tower, skyscraper building, coast versace, prophet museum muhammad, al very dessert resort. but, several new limit of development plan finished five up to ten years coming.
Criticism that appear from tourism dubai in the hook with principle sustainable only a little tour product at dubai genuinely sustainable and product be slimmer if that tour aim to sustainability. Not only that, but tourism at national scale exactly more go away from sustainability than previous. This rumors is bing very problematis especially at world that is blooming and experience economy transition from demand economy to market economics. of course many new aims that appears that support sustainability but still to wear defunct that can causes loss same and can menyulit tourism development several decade forwards.

Turkish is country very unique geographically because reside in two continents that is asia and europe. Turkish applies several efforts in realize four aspects sustainable tourism, consist of economic sustainability, ecological sustainability, cultural sustainability, and local sustainability.
Economic sustainability
appropriate base principle economic sustainabilty, a tour object must can beneficial in short-range also long-range. turkish government genuinely aware of this thing, the mentioned visible from turkish government strategy to realize sustainablity in the field of economy at the tourism sector. strategy that meant tour object quantity that carried on by turkish government(microsoft encarta, 2006), the example has been explained at part other in this explanation. pass existing tour object choice, can prevent stagnansi from financial entering from tourism sector, all at once will prevent tourist boredom existing tour object. prospect from this tour object quantity is very menjanji permanent profit continues as turkish government at time comes. of course also must be balanced with innovation and optimal batural resources potential utilization, so that existing tour object variation more will increase, all at once increase entering opportunity for turkish tourism sector self.

Turkey has attention very tall towards environment problem. hence, tourism development design at environment gracious. Cultural Sustainability
turkish effort in realize this matter sure memfokuskan to society control towards social life at appropriate turkish under colour of culture, value, and existing norm. this matter can automatically increase turkish member identity status, where does this matter in the development can overcoming problem get in the way realization cultural sustainability at turkish, that is the minimum intercultural erudition in turkish society self self, although cultured life at turkish self belongs to harmonic. One of [the] effort that done turkish government merestorasi cumalikizik constructively unesco. effort that done to like history site restoration, general facilities repair, and tool supplying and culture tour infrastructure and appropriate history with historic background cumalikizik.
Local Sustainability
principal aim from local sustainability local society empowerment, so that they can involved directly in tourism industrial so that can give profit for itself local society. Therefore, turkish government involves the society in turkish tourism development so that harmonic connection creation between government and society. Besides, this effort also supposed can creat job field for local society so that can repair their economy. Turkish government also support and push technology use innovativeer, so that local society can prepare certifiable tourism service for tourist, so that the mentioned can be of benefit to economy and local life quality. so that in further stage, can push to enter it investments from outside to turkish local regions.
besides, also develop citizen houses as place stay tourists (lodgings), so that bearer tourists with cultures that want them visit all at once see directly local citizen life. with this strategy is supposed can to produce profit, good that is to tourist, local culture protection, also labour enhanced. But, doesn't mean effort unobstructed. obstacle very seen still perception difference existence delivers sides in concerned in tourism management. The other obstacle not yet regulation existence rigid (criteria, indicator, standard) in tourism exertion at turkish, and the biggest obstacle not yet agreement existence on an ongoing basis between related the parties especially between governments and private. To overcome troubleshoot, turkish government begins to expand access for private side and foreign to invest, besides observer independent also guarantee the parties agreement in concerned in tourism sectors.

Basically, UAE(Dubai) also turkey same apply principle sustainable tourism development insides the tourism development. Both,UEA( Dubai) and Turkey very put a profound interest towards four pillars sustainable tourism development that is economic, ecological, cultural, and local sistainability. this matter is seen in tourism tool developments environment gracious, local empowerment society, very economical valuable in meaning can to be economic resources, and very watch over country culture each. still, in the execution stage both permanent has obstacle that can disturb tourism development process continue. But, UEA(dubai)-turkey success to overcome all existing troubleshoot. Short word, UEA(dubai)-Turkey success in apply principle or existing pillars in sustainable tourism development and run it excellently.
